Emma, a former unpaid carer for her late mother, Maria, who was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in the brain in 2006, is passionate about driving systemic change to improve the experience of others.
Inspired by her mother, Maria’s Movement encourages leadership to value and invest in the People and Culture element of their organisation, in order to improve care for all, and recognise that Good workplace Culture = Good patient Care.
Maria’s Movement inspires practical approaches to embed compassionate leadership and culture into every area of health and social care, and build a system that is fit for the future.
